SBCET Jaipur B.Tech Eligibility Criteria 2021

The B.Tech courses of Sri Balaji Shiksha Samiti are offered in the Sri Balaji College of Engineering and Technology which is affiliated under Rajasthan Technical University popularly known as RTU, so the eligibility criteria follow the directives and criteria suggested by the RTU. The eligibility criteria for Sri Balaji College of Engineering and Technology are as follows:

• The candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with mathematics and physics as the compulsory subjects along with any one among Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Biotechnology as a compulsory subject. The candidate must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of reserved category candidates) in the mentioned subjects taken together.
• Also, note that there is no age limit for seeking admission in the B.Tech course at SBCET Jaipur.

The application process for most (85%) of the seats is registered with the counselling bodies of REAP (Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process) and JEE Counselling Process. However, the institute takes direct admissions in the management quota for 15% of the seats. To apply in the seats, the candidate has to log into the official website of Sri Balaji College of Engineering and Technology and find the ‘Admission’ section from the right hand menu, under the admission dropdown, there will be an option named ‘Online Admission’ the students have to click on the link and fill in all the credentials such as name, address, family background, category, academic records and upload the supporting documents. After the student fills all the required fields, he/she finally has to click on the ‘Send’ button located at the bottom of the page. This will mark the successful registration candidate for direct admissions.

If the candidate wants to apply in the offline process, he/she has to download the ‘Admission form’ given into the Admission section and take a print out. After taking the printout, the candidates shall fill the form with due attention. The offline form comes with an attached back challan which the candidate has to deposit in a bank and post the copy along with the academic records and duly filled up form in the prescribed address.

SBCET Jaipur B.Tech Selection Process 2021

The selection in the 85% of the seats is done by the Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP) Counselling and JEE Mains counselling. The institute will select the students in the vacant 15% seats according to REAP directives. However, the direct admissions are done in very less number of seats which can be less than 5 in each department. Candidates are suggested not to aim for the direct admissions but to go for the REAP counselling. In Direct Admissions, the college will publish the merit lists according to the performance in the 12th level and entrance examinations (if attempted/available).

70% of total seats will be allotted through the merit list published by the Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP) Counseling.

15% of total seats will be allotted through the merit list of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Mains) Counseling. For Rajasthan Domicile candidates only.

15% of the total seats are allotted under management quota where the college takes admissions directly. If seats are vacant after the admissions, vacant seats will be allotted through direct admission by the institute as per REAP directives.

The candidates must have completed a B.Tech or B.E. degree level studies from any UGC approved university in India is similar or related fields will be eligible for admissions in the M.Tech courses of Sri Balaji College of Engineering and Technology. It is mandatory for the candidates to have a minimum 50% marks in the Bachelors level, for candidates belonging to the reserved category, the prescribed minimum marks are 40%.

The candidates will have to participate in the Centralized Admission for M.Tech. (CAM) counselling process conducted by the Rajasthan Technical University (RTU).

The selection process in the MCA course in Sri Balaji College of Engineering and Technology is mostly based on the RMCAAT counselling under the NIMCET examinations. RMCAAT is a Rajasthan based counselling body which conducts counselling for MCA admissions in Rajasthan based on the scores of NIMCET. 85% of the seats in Sri Balaji College of Engineering and Technology’s Sri Balaji College of Engineering and Technology.
