For B.Des

NIFT Delhi Application Process 2020

For all courses

Candidates who are applying for admission to NIFT Delhi have to follow the below-mentioned steps to apply:

  • Visit the official website of NIFT.
  • Apply online and refer to the guidelines while applying.
  • Pay the non-refundable application fee either through online payment gateway or through Bank Demand Draft in favour of "NIFT HO" payable at New Delhi.
  • In case of paying from Demand Draft, details of the same must be provided in the online application form. The printout of the duly completed NIFT application form must be sent to the specified address.
  • Keep a printout or photocopy of the application form along with the proof of payment for future reference.

NIFT Delhi BDes Eligibility Criteria 2020

Candidates seeking admission to the B.Des course must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • The maximum age of the applicant must be 23 years as on 1st October of the current year. For candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/ Person with Disability (PWD) categories.
  • Candidates must have passed 12th standard examination under the 10+2 pattern from any recognised Central or State Board of Secondary Examination such as the Central Board of Secondary Education/State Board New Delhi, and Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi. OR
  • The candidate must have a pass grade in the Senior Secondary School of Examination held by the National Open School with not less than five subjects. OR
  • The candidate must have qualified 3 or 4-year diploma recognised by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education. OR
  • Must have cleared any Board/University/Public School Examination in India or in foreign countries recognized by the Association of Indian Universities. The same must be equivalent to 10+2 system. OR
  • The candidate should have qualified General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri-Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level/ International Baccalaureate (IB).

For M.Des, MFM

NIFT Delhi MDes/MFM Eligibility Criteria 2020

Aspirants applying for the Master of Design (M.Des) or Master of Fashion Management (MFM) course offered by NIFT Delhi must meet the below-mentioned criteria:

  • There is no age limit for the course.
  • The candidate must have an undergraduate degree in any discipline from any institute or university recognised by law in the country OR
  • The candidate must have qualified an undergraduate diploma of at least three years duration from NID or NIFT.

For BFTech

NIFT Delhi BFTech Eligibility Criteria 2020

In order to be eligible for the Bachelor of Fashion Technology offered by NIFT Delhi, candidates must satisfy the eligibility criteria given below:

  • The candidate must not be more than 23 years of age as on 1st October of the current year. For candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/ Person with Disability (PWD) categories.
  • Must have passed the +2 level examination in the 10+2 pattern of examination of any recognized Central/State Board of Secondary Examination, such as Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, and Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. OR
  • Must have qualified 3 or 4-years diploma in any branch of Engineering recognized by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education. OR
  • Must have a pass grade in the Senior Secondary School Examination
  • conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.OR
  • Must have cleared any Public School/Board/University Examination in India or in foreign countries recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 system with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. OR
  • Must have passed the General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/
  • Cambridge/Sri-Lanka) at the advanced (A) level with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / International Baccalaureate (IB).

NIFT Delhi MFTech Eligibility Criteria 2020

Any candidate who meets the eligibility criteria given below will be able to take up the Master of Fashion Technology at NIFT Delhi:

  • There is no age limit for the course.
  • The applicant must have passed B.FTech. from National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) OR
  • The applicant must have qualified B.E / B.Tech. from any Institute / University recognized by law in India.

NIFT Delhi BDes/BFTech/MDes/MFM/MFTech Selection Criteria 2020

All the NIFT aspirants will be offered admission on the basis of the score obtained in the entrance examination conducted by NIFT at the national level.
